The topic studies the part design platform based on manufacturing resources.Presently,mainstream part design software does not work with manufacturing resources.The manufacturability of the design structure can not be guaranteed.In addition,existing part design software integrates structural design functions and analysis check functions in a physically integrated manner.The integration method requires high performance on the computer and there is a problem of resource idleness.The part design platform based on manufacturing resources developed in the paper aims to complete the structural design of parts based on manufacturing resources,realize the network integration of design and calibration,and the synergy between design and manufacturing.In order to develop the part design platform,the following aspects are studied in the paper:A gate model for design and manufacture is established by analyzing the mapping relationship between design and manufacturing.Based on existing manufacturing resources,the concept of design behavior based on manufacturing resources is proposed.The design behavior is classified according to the processing characteristics and the main and auxiliary characteristics.The characteristics of design behavior information attributes are analyzed,the unified expression model of design behavior is established,and the design behavior resource class library is developed according to the unified expression model.The design behavior drawing function is developed by using the data structure in the design behavior resource class library,and the drawing function library of design behavior is constructed.The level of the part is divided,and the part hierarchical model is established.The positional relationship of the design behavior relative to the part reference coordinate system is analyzed.The coordinate transformation method of design behavior is given.The characteristics of the combination relationship between design behaviors are analyzed,and which is classified.According to the combination of design behavior,the interface algorithm of union combination,intersection combination and difference combination of design behavior is developed to realize the part combined design.The information transfer relationship between design and calibration is analyzed,and the network integration process between design and calibration is designed.According to the characteristics of the design behavior strength check information,the strength interface model of design and verification is established,and the external CAE interface of the design platform is introduced.Based on the networked integration process of design and calibration,the information encoding transmission and decoding restoration methods of the strength check interface model are given,and the network integration of design and calibration is realized.The composition principle of the part file is analyzed,the storage structure of the part file is designed,and the information storage method and information reading method of the part file are given.The part file read and draw function is developed,and which are used to realize the information reading,model drawing and model display of the part.According to the operation requirements of designer,the operation flow of part file insertion,modification and deletion is given,and the corresponding operation function is developed to realize the dynamic editing of the part file.Finally,the overall framework of the design platform is constructed.Various functional modules have been developed according to the functional requirements of the platform.Taking the shaft parts as an example,the transaction coordination test is carried out on the coordination of design and calibration and the synergy of design and manufacturing,the network integration of design and calibration and the synergy design and manufacturing is realized.Taking the typical parts of shaft,disk and box as examples,the structural design demonstration of typical parts is carried out,which verified the functionality and practicability of the part design platform.
