Silty soil is ubiquitous in our country.Using high-strength soil solidifying agent,the soil which is not suitable for subgrade filling is strengthened and improved to meet the quality requirements of highway subgrade,such as strength and stability,which can not only speed up national infrastructure construction,reduce engineering costs,but also save resources and protect the environment.In 1972,China put forward the Sustainable development,and determined that"economic development,social development and environmental protection are interdependent and mutually reinforcing components of sustainable development".Under the premise of sustainable development,this study is based on knowledge and innovation,improving the efficiency of resource utilization,developing green economy and strengthening competitiveness,which is the direct embodiment of sustainable development.Taking the Silty soil in eastern Henan Province as the research subject,the test section of Zhengzhou-Minquan Expressway was selected in the second phase.The typical Silty soil in this area was used as the filling material in the base course of the highway,and the high-strength soil solidifying agent was used to improve it,so as to study the road performance of the high-strength soil solidifying agent.Firstly,the typical silty soil in eastern Henan Province is determined by the particle distribution,compaction characteristics and liquid-plastic limit index of the sample soil;Secondly,the unconfined compressive strength,shear strength,compressive characteristics,load-bearing ratio and other physical and mechanical properties of the sample soil are measured to study and analyze the soil characteristics and the disease easily caused;Thirdly,through the classification of the characteristics of soil stabilizers,select an inorganic high-strength soil stabilizer as an improved product,combined with the improvement mechanism and engineering cost,determine the optimal mixture ratio;Finally,in the test section of paved subgrade,the unconfined compressive strength,splitting strength,compressive resilience modulus,dry shrinkage performance,water stability performance,CBR bearing ratio and other road performance indexes of the test section subgrade are measured,and the road performance of the improved silty soil subgrade is analyzed.The test results show that the technical indexes of the test section meet the requirements of design and specifications,and the pavement performance of the material is very good,suitable for highway subgrade construction materials.Comparing with common road building materials and common filler improvement schemes,using high strength soil stabilizer to stabilize and improve silt not only has good road performance,but also can effectively reduce the maintenance costs in the use process and save the project cost.Filling with local materials is conducive to environmental protection and has good practical,economic and social benefits.Based on the analysis of silt soil quality in eastern Henan,the introduction of soil solidifying agent,the selection of mixture ratio and the pavement performance of high strength soil solidifying agent for improving and stabilizing silt in eastern Henan,this paper summarizes a set of practical and feasible construction scheme,which is different from other methods such as adding soil solidifying agent and adding cement or lime,etc.Cementing material is more convenient for construction.
