Research On The Creative Thought Of Architecture With Chinese Characteristics Under The Background Of Globalization

Since the end of the 1970 s,globalization has grown at an increasing rate,and China has entered a new stage of transformational historical development.The reform and opening up has created a positive environment for China's economic development and brought new development opportunities.In the past 40 years,China's construction industry has gained a lot.The prosperous construction market is gradually expanding,carrying a huge amount of construction tasks.The flourishing development of the architectural creation market and the lack of architectural theory research have made the creation of Chinese architects with poor theoretical support.The introduction of foreign architecture theory has positively promoted the development of China's contemporary construction industry,but at the same time,it has also made our native architectue theory not get the properly developed and continuity it deserves.Therefore,the establishment of an architectural theory research framework suitable for China's national conditions and an architectural theory system with Chinese characteristics have become our urgent need,so that architectural theory can solve the practical problems of our country in a targeted manner.This paper attempts to use five contemporary Chinese architects as an example to sort out and analyze their creative thinking about Chinese characteristics in the context of coping with globalization,and the design practice completed under the guidance of such ideas.Summarize their exploration and response under the tide of globalization,in order to combine the research results of predecessors,and look forward to the progress of Chinese architectural creation practice and architectural creation ideas.This paper first analyzes the development process and problems of China's construction industry under the wave of globalization from the two aspects of architectural creation and architectural thought.It point out that the disconnection between today's architectural theory and practice and the lack of Chinese architectural theory are important factors limited the development of architectural creation in China.Secondly,this paper expounds that contemporary Chinese architects are actively seeking a new way for Chinese future architectural creation under the current globalization context of urban expansion and cultural convergence,takes five architects(Cui Kei,Li Xinggang,Liu Jiakun,Zhang Yonghe,Wang Shu)as examples,throughanalyses their creative practice and architectural ideas,shows how architects adhere to their own concept of architecture in the current era.And attains the pursuit of "Chinese characteristics" in the practice of architectural creation.Finally,through the diversified analyses of the five architects in the creative practice and creative thinking,this paper points out the inadequacies of Chinese architectural creation and looks forward the way it progress,to make a contribution to the study of Chinese architectural theory.
