Excellent auto companies all over the world are inseparable from a reasonable development strategy.The clear development strategy of the company is not only the supervision of the company’s management,but also the guidance for the ordinary work of ordinary employees.How to maintain a competitive advantage in the Chinese passenger car market,which is gradually entering the competition,is the core issue facing all auto companies.In 2018,the Chinese passenger vehicle market ended its 27-year continuous growth since 1991,and the total sales volume of the passenger vehicle market fell by 4.2% from 2017.Many experts and scholars in the automotive industry believe that the Chinese passenger vehicle market has entered the stage of “micro growth” or “negative growth”.At this stage,it is necessary to study the development strategy of Shouqi Puluo Automobile Co.,Ltd.,which ranked first in sales for 30 consecutive years.The development strategy formulated by Shouqi Puluo Automobile Co.,Ltd.in response to market changes and continued to maintain sales and profit leadership has universal guiding significance for Chinese joint venture auto companies.This paper firstly analyzes the external environment of Shouqi Puluo Motor Co.,Ltd.from the economic environment,national policy,social environment and technology level,and then carries out SWOT analysis based on the internal management,marketing and financial management of Shouqi Pro Automobile Co.,Ltd.After clarifying the internal and external environment of Shouqi Puluo,development strategy planning goals,and put forward clear requirements for the company’s future development from the perspectives of profitability,brand satisfaction,new business development and R&D capability.In order to be able to achieve strategic goals,we need to choose the development strategy based on the actual situation of the company.In the overall strategy of defense,integration and diversification,we select the types of strategies that meet the requirements of the strategic objectives,and determine the competition strategies of each brand according to the characteristics of the Chinese passenger vehicle market.After the strategic objectives and competitive strategies are determined,the methods for ensuring the implementation of the strategy are demonstrated from various aspects.Strategic management is supported through precise annual goals,sound policy support and resource allocation,and strategically aligned organizations.At the same time,we continue to exert our strengths in marketing strategy,financial management and product development to ensure the achievement of strategic goals.Strategic implementation is inseparable from strong safeguards.The company needs to ensure the implementation of development strategies from the perspectives of policies and resources,manpower and training,organizational processes and corporate culture.
