There are several reasons for the delay in construction projects in Pakistan operated by the Chinese.A large number of Chinese companies are working on several projects and are oftendelayed due to negligible mistakes resulting inextra cost exceeding than the actual budget of a project making the projects less profitable. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the impact of cultural difference on project delay in international project management. This research has been conducted through collecting primary data, the data was collected through a questionnaire by using five point Likert scale.Questionnaire was divided in parts for the better understanding and appropriate responses that is Hofstede cultural dimensions and project delay factors. The entire questionnaires answered by the professionals(clients, consultants and contractors)working on construction projects in Pakistan.SPSS version 21 is used to check the Reliability of factors using Cronbach?s alpha before going to further analysis and all factors were above the recommended scale i.e.0.60.In order to find out the impact of delay we have checked the impact of each culture dimension on project delay,so in this thesis project delay is the dependent variable and cultural dimensions are independent variables.Regression model is used to find out the empirical results and significant level of the factors, which found ?Power distance? was insignificant i.e.(PDI.452)means no impact on project delay whereas Individualism((IDV.014),Masculinity(MFF.006),Uncertainty avoidance(UAF.019)and Long term orientation(LTOF.000)were significant means they have impact on project delay, whereas R square is 0.620 means 62 percent,as R square is the percentage of the response variable variation and it is always between 0 and 100 percent that indicates the variability of the response data around its mean.
