In recent years,the market share of diesel engines is increasing.Diesel engines are more powerful than gasoline engines,and have many advantages such as strong power and more fuel economy.Diesel engine emissions meet the emission standards of China and can keep up with European emission standards.Diesel engines are widely used in exhaust gas recirculation(EGR)technology.The EGR cooler is a key component of the EGR system,and its performance can have a decisive influence on the cold EGR effect.The improvement of the EGR cooler performance is of great significance to the diesel engine working process.Therefore,the specific research content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,the diesel engine model is established by GT-power.Simulation simulation is carried out according to the needs.The diesel engine performance under different working conditions is simulated and analyzed.The EGR rate and EGR cooling temperature of the EGR cooler under different loads are obtained.The economical,fuel consumption,and emissions impact curves of the engine provide a basis for future EGR cooler optimization.Secondly,CATIA is used to build a three-dimensional solid assembly model for the main components of the EGR cooler,and ANSYS ICEM is used to mesh the EGR cooler fluid model to obtain the EGR cooler fluid mesh model.Based on the above simulation results,a fluid simulation model of two EGR cooler structures is established based on the known EGR cooler parameters.The ANSYS FLUENT software is used to calculate the pressure field,temperature field,velocity field and heat load of the diesel EGR cooler.Simulation analysis shows that the bow baffle EGR cooler cannot meet the design requirements of the diesel engine and needs to be optimized.Finally,by analyzing the internal structure of the bow baffle EGR cooler and optimizing its internal structure,and then verifying by engine simulation,the exhaust gas can be fully exchanged with the coolant through the optimized EGR cooler,and cooling can be seen.The efficiency is significantly improved,and the fuel consumption and emissions of the diesel engine are reduced to meet the performance requirements of the EGR cooler.The research method of the paper can provide reference for the structure and performance optimization of EGR cooler,which has certain practical application significance.
