After the reform and opening up,with the continuous development of our social economy and urbanization process of continuous advance, urban park green space per capita as an important index to evaluate the level of urban green space construction in a region has been greatly improved. However,in the process of evolution, there are obvious spatial and temporal differences on the scale of the city.At present,China’s urbanization is in the middle and late stages of transformation and upgrading.Urban green space construction is an important part of the new urbanization construction.Further improving urban park green space per capita has become an important goal of urban sustainable development. In this context,to explore the spatial and temporal pattern and evolution law of urban park green space per capita in China can provide a scientific basis for governments at all levels to formulate urban green space construction policies according to local conditions. The paper takes 604 county-level cities and above as sample units, takes the pattern characteristics, evolution laws and cold-hot spot evolutions of spatial differentiation of urban park green space per capita as research contents.Based on ArcGIS,GeoDa and other software, adopting spatial analysis methods,it systematically studies the phenomenon and law of the spatial differentiation pattern of urban park green space per capita from 1996 to2016.The result shows:(1)From the evolution of time series, because the growth of national park green area faster than the urban population, urban park green space per capita continues to rise, and the growth rate first increased and then decreased. The relative difference of urban park green space per capita between cities decreased gradually, and the absolute difference increased further. The urban park green space per capita of different scale cities shows the law of "big city > middle city > small city",but the growth rate is in the opposite direction.(2)From the perspective of space, the difference of regional city park green area per capita are obvious, and the distribution pattern of "east, central, western, northeast" is decreasing. The average annual growth rate show the rule of "west > east > central >northeast",and the successive growth rate show the rule of "west > central > east >northeast".The growth rate variation type has not formed obvious spatial agglomeration, low level of growth medium city accounted for the largest.(3)From the spatial autocorrelation, urban park green space per capita has a significant spatial autocorrelation, and the degree is increasing, and the spatial dependenceand spatial heterogeneity of urban park green space per capita exist simultaneously, spatial spillover effect is obvious, and cluster changes are mainly dependent on spatial proximity. The difference between regions is still significant, showing that HH agglomeration is mainly concentrated in the east, and LL agglomeration is mostly distributed in the central and northeast.(4)From the cold-hot spots, the law of cold-hot spots’ spatial distribution of urban park green space per capita is strong.Hot spots are mainly distributed in the east and begin to extend to the central and the western.Cold spots shift from the central to the northeast, and the agglomeration degree is further strengthened.(5)Based on the above research,it is proposed that to further improve the urban park green space per capita, different strategies should be formulated according to the development characteristics of cities in different regions, different administrative levels, different city scales, different cluster types and cold hot spots.
