In order to study the section size change on the influence of the seismic performance of reinforced concrete box column,reinforced concrete box column in this paper,the five horizontal low cyclic reciprocating loading test specimens,by way of analyzing the test data,the wall thickness ratio and aspect ratio on the influence of the seismic performance of reinforced concrete box column,and then combined with the existing theory for further analysis,the final test results are verified through the numerical simulation.The specific analysis results are listed as follows:1.Influence of changing the flange wall thickness ratio on the seismic performance of the specimen is higher than that of changing the ventral wall thickness ratio,and with the increase of the wall thickness ratio,the horizontal bearing capacity of the specimen increases,but the ductility decreases.2.Reducing the aspect ratio of the section will lead to the decrease of the horizontal bearing capacity of the specimen,and the influence on the yield resistance of the structure increases sharply first and then decreases gradually,but the ductility of the structure increases.3.Based on the test data and combining with the existing theory,the modified calculation formula of the horizontal bearing capacity of reinforced concrete box column is proposed,and the restoring force characteristic model applicable to such components is established.4.or more different size of the model is established using the finite element numerical analysis,validate the horizontal bearing capacity formula of reinforced concrete box column and abdominal wall thickness than in 0.22 ~ 0.37,flange thickness ratio was between 0.35 ~ 0.5 when can get better seismic performance,and in this range,with the increase of thickness ratio,reinforced concrete box column can withstand the limit load is,the greater the energy dissipation ability is stronger,but its ductility decreases.By means of test analysis and theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,this paper gives the analysis results of the influence of size change on the seismic performance of reinforced concrete box column,which has certain reference value for the design and research analysis of the above components in the future.
