Missiles and artillery shells play an important role in modern warfare,and the demand for Missile-borne antennas is becoming more and more urgent.Because of the advantages of low profile,light weight,simple structure,and easy to conform to carrier,microstrip antenna is favored by researchers all over the world and has more and more applications in the field of missile borne conformal antenna.According to the requirement of specific project to realize antenna lateral radiation in X-band,the simulation and design of X-band microstrip Quasi-Yagi conformal array antenna and microstrip monopole antenna are carried out in this dissertation.The main work are as follows:Microstrip quasi-Yagi array antenna is designed based on the basic theory of Yagi antenna and combined with the form of microstrip antenna.Microstrip power divider feeding network is designed to feed the antenna.The antenna is fabricated and tested in practice.The test results are in good agreement with the simulation results.The antenna operates in X-band with a bandwidth of 450 MHz,and the beam width of E-plane pattern is-60°~-18°,18°~65°,which meets the requirements of the target.Based on the basic theory of monopole antenna,microstrip monopole antenna is designed in the form of microstrip antenna.According to the principle of parasitic patch,the antenna is miniaturized,the antenna bandwidth is broadened according to the principle of sleeve antenna,and the antenna front-to-back ratio is improved by changing the ground structure.Two-layer dielectric substrates are used for aided design,and metallized holes are used to optimize the orientation diagram.The antenna is fabricated and tested in practice.The antenna operates in X-band with a bandwidth of 1.13 GHz.The E-plane pattern beam width perpendicular to the dielectric substrate is-73°~-19°,18°~74°,and the E-plane pattern beam width parallel to the dielectric substrate is-74°~-20°,20°~72°,which meets the requirements of the target.The two antennas are compared and analyzed.Compared with the microstrip quasi-Yagi conformal array antenna,the microstrip monopole antenna has wider bandwidth and smaller volume,and has more advantages in practical application.
