Based on the advantages of large traffic volume,fast speed and high punctuality rate,the rail transit system has become one of the most effective methods to solve urban traffic congestion and relieve traffic pressure,dozens of cities in China have built or are building their rail transit systems.However,once the rail transit network is completed,it is difficult to make adjustments,at the same time,because of its huge investment demand and construction cost,its network coverage,accessibility and flexibility are difficult to reach the level of public transportation.Therefore,the rail transit system must rely on the public transport system as an effective supplement to maximize its transport capacity.However,in the initial planning of urban public transportation,the construction of rail transit is often not considered,resulting in a lack of cooperation between rail transit and public transport systems.The lines of the two may overlap,thus reducing the efficiency of distribution of rail transit.In order to maximize the utilization of urban public transportation resources and ensure the efficient operation of the transportation system,this paper studies the feeder bus route selection and layout optimization based on rail transport,and has achieved the following research results:(1)A method of generating a collection of candidate bus routes based on rail transit is established.First of all,it is necessary to determine the first and last stations and the intermediate stations of the bus lines.Therefore,this paper from the perspective of timely distribute the transfer passenger flow,according to the matching degree between the rail transit station and the surrounding public transport,determined the orbital pick-up station of the feeder bus.Based on this,the midway station and the last station of the candidate route are selected within the receiving range of the orbital pick-up station.Then,using the heuristic rules such as reasonable spacing of the station,away from the search starting point,toward the search end point and reducing the tortuous reciprocation,obtain a candidate route set.(2)Research on the layout optimization method of the feeder bus.In order to obtain the best feeder bus route from the candidate route set,this paper constructs a multi-objective programming model,the goal of this model are minimum passenger travel time,most people served,and the minimum operating cost of the bus company.The constraints of this model are average station spacing,line length and line control points,and is solved by genetic algorithm.(3)Take Suzhou Metro Line 2 as an example.The peak hour passenger flow of each station and its surrounding bus capacity are statistically analyzed,and the capacity matching of each station is calculated.The level of capacity matching degree of Pinglong Road East Station,Guangji Road Station and Shihu East Road Station is "poor",so it is determined to be the first stop of feeder bus lines.Then,combined with the current status of the bus station along the rail line 2,within the service scope of the three subway stations,the midway station and the last station of the bus route are determined.Based on this,heuristic rules are used to generate candidate routes,and combined with the optimization model established in this paper,the genetic algorithm is used to obtain the optimal feeder bus route.The results show that the capacity matching degree of the three subway stations has been improved after the addition of six new feeder bus routes,which verifies the rationality of the optimization model.
