Urban rail transit is in the stage of rapid development and gradual network operation,and new rail lines are constantly connected to the urban rail transit network.Because of the characteristics of easy adjustment and short distance travel service,feeder bus has become an important connecting way of urban rail transit.The paper analyzes the effect of new urban rail transit line access,traffic characteristics and station types,grasps the operation characteristics and connection characteristics of the feeder bus,and makes the adjustment and plan of the rail line feeder bus routes,which has guiding significance for improving the convenience of travel,weakening the competitive relationship between the urban rail transit and the feeder bus,strengthening cooperative relationship of the two transport modes,accelerating the integration of new rail lines with existing rail network and buses.The paper analyzes the evolvement characteristics of passenger flow in urban rail transit network.The types of passenger flow of new transit lines have been clarified,and the characteristics of urban rail transit network structure have been described from the aspect of rail transit network structure and new line access mode.The three new transit line access modes have been summarized which includes connection line to the existing network,extension line of an existing line and lines without connected to the network temporarily.The passenger flow characteristics of the new transit line access have been analyzed from the passenger flow of the urban rail transit network,the existing rail transit lines,the new rail transit lines and the stations.The changing trend of passenger flow of the new line in different development stages and locations has been analyzed.The influence of the new line access on the passenger flow of the existing urban rail transit lines and the passenger flow distribution of the urban rail transit network has been summarized.The paper analyzes the characteristics of urban rail transit feeder bus.The function of the feeder bus of urban rail transit has been defined from the aspects of the service area,line form,service object and development stage,and the types has been differentiated.The influencing factors of feeder modes selection,travel process and travel cost of feeder bus and urban rail transit have been explored,and the connection form and operation characteristics of the new rail line and the feeder bus line have been summarized.and the spatial and temporal distribution passenger flow characteristics of the feeder bus have been analyzed.The paper clarifies the stations of the new urban rail transit line using hierarchical clustering method.The classification indicators include the cohesion relationship between new and existing lines in urban rail transit network,the development intensity around the stations,the location of the stations,the feeder bus route numbers and the passenger volume transferring between urban rail transit and feeder bus,and the classification method includes three steps of quantification of new transit station characteristics,index correlation analysis and standardization of index data.The influencing factors of the selection of feeder bus stations have been explored,then the feeder bus stations have been identified according to the demand and feeder bus station types.The passenger flow attraction range of urban rail transit has been analyzed,and the transit feeder range model has been established according to the aggregation effect of passenger volume.The feeder bus route planning method under the new urban rail transit access condition includes the adjustment of the existing feeder bus routes and the generation of new feeder bus routes.The paper puts forward that the feeder bus routes can be planned hierarchically from three levels of plane,line and point.Three adjustment targets of feeder bus planning method under the new line access conditions have been proposed,which involves network coverage,network layout and two-network fusion.According to the feeder bus route form and the connection form between feeder bus and urban rail transit,the adjustment strategies of the feeder bus route have been put forward,and the adjustment emphases have been listed according to the access mode of the new urban transit line.In the process of generating feeder bus routes,the stations have been classified according to the classification method of new line stations,and the priority rail stations for bus route planning have been determined according to the classification results.Then the feeder bus route planning model for new rail transit line has been established from the perspective of meet passenger demand and reducing travel cost,with the goal of maximizing passenger demand and minimizing passenger travel cost,and NSGA-Ⅱ genetic algorithm has been selected to solve the problem.The paper takes Suzhou urban rail transit line 3 access as the application background and verifies the feeder bus route planning method under the new urban rail transit line access proposed in the paper.
