Research On The Applicability Of Wood Structure For Modern Landscape Architecture In Cold Region

The development of modern architecture in cold regions is increasingly emphasizing low energy consumption and ecologicality.Among all building materials,wood is the only environmentally friendly material that meets the development requirements of China’s cold regions architecture.At the same time,timber work,as a traditional Chinese architectural system,has advantages that other structures do not have,such as environmental protection,low carbon and energy-saving,adaptability,recyclability,etc.The development of timber-framed landscape architecture in the cold regions can achieve sustainable development of the architecture industry,and in recent years,the timber work has received the attention from government and the industry.The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development have clearly stated that it is necessary to pay attention to use of the timber work in new low-rise public buildings such as schools and gardens invested by the government.At present,timber work demonstration plots have been established in many places in China.This paper mainly takes the applicability of the timber work of the landscape architecture in the freezing and cold regions of China(hereinafter referred to as the cold regions)as the research object,and analyzes the development status of timber work landscape architecture in cold regions at home and abroad and the factors affecting the development of the timber work landscape architecture in cold regions in China.It studies the feasibility of the development of timber work landscape architecture in cold regions in China,analyzes and uses the practical experience and inspiration of the construction of timber work landscape architecture in cold regionsof China for reference,and puts forward the applicability scheme of timber work landscape architecture in cold regions in China.This paper believes that the use of timber work landscape buildings in cold regions can achieve low-carbon environmental protection and energy conservation,improve construction efficiency,and promote the sustainable development of China’s architecture in cold regions.
