Construction Research And Design Translation Of Traditional Residential Buildings In Southern Jiangsu

There are a large number of historical sites in China.The remains of buildings in the old urban renewal section have been demolished due to poor quality or functional inconsistency with modern living standards.At the same time,historical sites need to reactivate the site and introduce new capital.Therefore,a large number of demolition plots are facing reconstruction,and the lack of clear control measures has led to the uneven quality of new buildings,the symbolization,the lack of traditional aesthetics of traditional architecture,and the historical features have been seriously damaged.This paper takes the design of the land plot of No.137-153,Zhongyi Street,Nanmen,Jiangyin City as a carrier,trying to explore how to build a building in a historical location and answer the question of translating traditional architectural language.By interpreting the ontology of translation--the method of traditional residence in southern Jiangsu,we explore a set of translation strategies of traditional architectural language,so that the historical features can be protected and extended.New buildings can inherit the aesthetic characteristics of traditional residential architecture.The introduction to the first chapter of this paper first introduces the background,purpose,content and framework of the research.The second chapter sorts out the location,history and basic research information of the historical and scenic area of Zhongyi Street.The third and fourth chapters are the research part,which is divided into the study of task book,the study of traditional residential construction in southern Jiangsu,and the study of case translation.The task book defines and drives the design.Eight representative residential houses are selected from the protective ancient buildings in Suzhou City.From the texture level and unit level,the basic characteristics of traditional houses in southern Jiangsu are explored.We sort out the elements that control the rules of the master plan and then apply the rules in the design of the new building to control the coordination between the overall texture and the overall style.At the unit level,the four types of space prototypes of halls,buildings,courtyards and pavilions are extracted to explore the possibility of traditional residences translating in the context of contemporary architecture.In addition,the research of successful translation cases provides ideas for design.The fifth chapter is the design part.At the texture level,following the design guidelines of the upper city,the overall layout is determined by the overall style coordination.At the unit level,the space prototypes of the hall,building,courtyard and pavilion are translated.The text of this article is about 15,000 words and 91 charts.
