The Impact Of Supply Chain Integration On Enterprise Financial Performance

With the deepening trend of economic globalization,market competition is becoming more and more fierce,and the mode of competition has changed from competition among enterprises to competition among supply chains.Supply chain integration is a new and mature field derived from supply chain manage ment in recent years.Enterprises can cross organizational boundaries through supply chain integration,it change from original competitive relationship to competitive relationship with upstream suppliers and downstream customers.it also can integrate resources effectively to improve comprehensive competitive advantage.Supply chain integration has become an effective way for enterprises to improve their performance.As the pillar industry of China's economic development,automobile manufacturing industry is the representative of high-tech industry.With the further deepening of economic globalization,the shortcomings of high cost and small profit margin of Chinese automobile manufacturing enterprises have become increasingly prominent.The pressure from internal and external perf ormance management has further squeezed the survival space of enterprises in the industry.Therefore,under the premise of the increasingly strengthened performance management of automobile enterprises,it is both timely and necessary to explore the impact of supply chain integration on enterprise performance.The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of supply chain integration on enterprise performance,by using empirical analysis method for analys is and research.Through analysis,research hypothesis is established,research variables are designed,and research model is established on the basis of factor analysis.In the empirical study,406 listed companies of automobile manufacturin g industry in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges were selected as the research object.The sample data included the annual report data of the research object from 2013 to 2018.Through factor analysis,the comprehensive scores of financial performance of sample companies are calculated,and the effects of unilateral integration of supply chain with upstream suppliers and downstream customers on financial performance of enterprises are verified respectively.As well as the effects of overall integration of supply chain on financial performance of enterprises.The research finds that supply chain integration of Listed Comp anies in automobile manufacturing industry helps to improve financial performance of enterprises.The integration of core enterprises and upstream suppliers has a significant positive impact on financial performance,while the integration of core enterprises and downstream sellers has no significant impact on financial performance.According to the above conclusions,this paper argues that improving supply chain integration is an effective way for enterprises to improve their financial performance.Enterprises should cooperate strategically with upstream suppliers and downstream customers to share information and resources,deepen the cooperation between manufacturing enterprises and upstream the downstream strategic partners in the production and purchase of raw materials.research the development design of new products,create the overall competitive advantage of the supply chain,and make the integrated supply chain truly bring into play its economic benefits.The present situation of supply chain management and supply chain cooperation of enterprises have certain reference value for investors.Good supply chain management mode reflects good financial performance and operating benefits of enterprises.Therefore,enterprises should strengthen the disclo sure of relevant information in supply chain.Investors should also pay attention to the stability and continuity of the cooperation relationship between enterpris es ?suppliers and customers,and make a reasonable prediction of the growth ability of enterprises.The government should advocate enterprises to take the path of supply chain integration,integrate resources and improve their comprehen sive competitiveness.
