Feeder automation of the power distribution network will favorable enhance power supply reliability.The practical application of feeder automation that is able to make real-time collection,processing and monitoring of the operation of the feeder line and terminal information based on the master station system of the power distribution network and stable communication network.In addition,remote switching on and switching off can also be implemented.In the case of a line fault,on-site fault information can be obtained,based on which the feeder line fault area is automatically identified and isolated with automatic power supply restoration for the non-fault area,thereby realizing automatic operation of the power distribution network in the true sense.By focusing on the conditions of feeder automation realization,the problems and deficiencies in the implementation of the feeder automation of Chaoyang 10KV power distribution network are summarized based on the new generation OPEN200 power distribution system developed by NARI.To begin with,the communication mode between the master station system for power distribution automation and the terminals is analyzed,with the network security of authenticated encryption taken into full consideration.In the following,automatic import of graphics and models in PMS and EMS and database information is realized using the information interaction bus for purpose of "source-end maintenance and whole-network data sharing".Moreover,a feeder processing mode centered on master station centralization complemented by o-the-spot switch station deployment is adopted for feeder automation.Feeder single-phase ground fault location conducted using the fault indicator.Lastly,the practicability of fault handling capacity of the feeder automation system adopted by Chaoyang Power Company is tested and verified by simulating various types of feeder faults.
