With the vigorous development of infrastructure construction of China,especially in the field of transportation,it presents a road network pattern that is well-connected and intertwined.Since the 21 st century,earthquakes have occurred frequently in China,and the most serious damage happened in Wenchuan earthquake,followed by the Yushu earthquake and the Lushan earthquake.The damage caused by these earthquakes to the road traffic system would lead to the decline or even failure of its urban functions.After the earthquake,the road network not only serves as an important task for transporting disaster relief materials,evacuating people in the disaster areas,and transporting rescue forces as a lifeline for disaster relief,but also plays a key role in rebuilding the disaster area after the earthquake and restoring livelihood of citizens.Therefore,seismic resilience of the road network has received more and more attention.How to quantitatively evaluate the seismic resilience of the road network has become an important direction of current research.Based on the post-earthquake repair cost of the road network,an evaluation method for the seismic resilience of road network after earthquake is proposed.The main research of this paper is as follows:1.The definition and research status of resilience are discussed,and the type and composition of road network are introduced.2.The seismic damage assessment methods of road network units are summarized,and the advantages,disadvantages of each method and the scope of application are analyzed.The seismic damage data of roads,bridges and tunnels in the Wenchuan earthquake are used to compare the main methods,and the selection suggestions for the seismic damage assessment method of the road network unit are given.3.The road element importance calculation model is established by selecting the connection degree,the centrality,the length and the number of lanes as the key indicators,and the importance correction coefficient is given according to the importance of the location of the road element.Taking a road network as an example,the model is applied to verify the rationality and feasibility of the model.Based on the revised importance calculation results in the example,the post-earthquake priority recovery order of each road element is graded.4.The seismic resilience assessment model of the road network is established by considering the post-earthquake repair cost,total cost and importance of the road section as the main parameters,and the model is modified based on the difference of road network type.The calculation method of post-earthquake repair cost and the cost estimation method of road network unit are proposed.This model is used to evaluate the seismic resilience of the damaged road network in Wenchuan earthquake,and the evaluation results are compared with the actual recovery to verify the rationality of the established evaluation model.Finally,taking a road network as an example,the model is used to analyze the seismic resilience of the road network under VI-X degree,and the feasibility of the model is verified.
