Integrated Design Old Town In Luohe Guided By Space Syntax

With the acceleration of urbanization,traditional culture has been greatly impacted.The existing urban functions can no longer meet people’s needs.People are more eager to have a taste and emotional living environment.However,most of the analysis methods of traditional reconstruction rely on subjective experience without a complete theoretical system,which makes the reconstructed blocks unable to achieve the desired effect and the spiritual needs of citizens difficult to meet.Therefore,how to make objective analysis in the early stage and how to apply the analysis results to the planning and design are particularly important,which is also the focus of this paper.Firstly,this paper expounds the relevant concepts used in historical blocks,space syntax and planning and design,carries out space syntax analysis on three domestic cases of Lijiang ancient city,Tianjin block and Fuzhou three lanes and seven lanes,and summarizes the lessons that can be learned and applied to the analysis of the old city.Secondly,the preliminary basic analysis summarizes the problems of the old city,such as chaotic spatial pattern,broken district functions,frequent traffic problems,insufficient green space landscape,historical context fault,etc.However,through the syntactic analysis of street space and regional space in the old city,the integration ability of roads and regional space in the old city can be obtained,which can provide reference for the integration design of the old city.At last,the street and regional space with weak integration ability obtained from space syntax theory are designed to attract people,and the infrastructure of street and regional space with strong integration ability is strengthened to retain people.According to the density and spatial structure of the street network in the old city,the historical and cultural characteristics of the old city are integrated,and the relationship between structure and spatial function is strengthened.Different plans are made for the architectural features of different areas in the old city in terms of road network,spatial structure and historical context.Luohe old city will be turned into a historical and cultural ancient city integrating tourism,cultural experience,historical relics and folk customs,thus rejuvenating the old city and providing reference for similar planning and design in the future.
