This paper mainly took the bearing and retaining ring press fitting technology of the steering knuckle of new energy vehicle as the research object.According to the assembly requirements of the enterprise,designed a bearing and retaining ring press fitting equipment to reduce the labor intensity and improve the assembly precision and efficiency.On the basis of the designed press fitting equipment the finite element analysis of the bearing press fitting process and key components was carried out.and the fatigue analysis of key components was carried out to verify the feasibility of the design.The main research contents were as follows:Firstly.According to the design requirements of bearing and retaining ring press fitting equipment,the overall structure of the equipment was determined.Then,according to the assembly size of steering knuckle,bearing and retaining ring,the main mechanisms were designed,and the standard components was selected and calculated.Finally,the three-dimensional modeling was carried out through Solidworks.Then,according to the interference fit theory,the range of bearing press fitting interference was obtained,and the interference was corrected by the surface roughness.On the basis of calculating the maximum interference,ANSYS Workbench software was used to carry out the finite element analysis of the bearing press fitting process,The stress and deformation of the bearing press fitting components were obtained,the strength and stiffness of the bearing press fitting components were checked,and the influence of the interference on the press fitting force curve was explored.Finally,the explicit dynamics and statics analysis of the press sleeve and the box of the key components of the equipment were carried out respectively,and the stress and deformation of the press sleeve and the box were obtained,and the strength and stiffness of the press sleeve and the box were checked.Finally,through nCode DesignLife software,the fatigue analysis of the indenter and the box was carried out,the fatigue life of the indenter and the box was predicted,and whether the fatigue life of indenter and box met the design requirements was verified,and the effects of different surface parameters on fatigue life were explored.
