In many mechanical devices, the interference fit is generally adopted to transmit the axial force and torque. This kind of connection have simple structure, good centering accuracy, high strength, withstand torque, axial force or the combination of the them, high load ability, in the case of shock and vibration, still can work more reliably. The connection of shaft and hole parts often use interference fit, in the interference fit of shaft and hole parts, the maximum diameter of the hole is smaller than the minimum of the outer diameter of the shaft, after fitting, due to the pressure on fitting surfaces, shaft and hole hold each other. Shaft and hole parts through interference fit closely integrated, theoretically. However, in practical applications, it is often found that the fitting surface has a fatigue crack, which is not enough to transfer load, in addition, in interference fit design selection, due to the improper selection of bearing type and structure, the performance can’t meet the requirements, resulting in a reduction in the bearing life.There are many ways to realize interference connection, and the selection of different assembly methods should be based on the reasonable arrangement of the process. It is difficult to directly observe the stress and strain of the contact surface in press fitting, so the method of monitoring the press-mounting force & displacement curve is usually adopted. And fitting parts assembled by hot assembly method, need to be more concerned about the deformation of the parts before and after the hot assembly.According to the demand of practical engineering application project and analyzes the theory and simulation method of interference fit at home and abroad, In this paper,6215 deep groove ball bearing pressing technology and a Guide Roller of a Certain Fluid Torque Converter with thermal deformation was studied, the finite element model is established and The stress-strain condition, the main factors affecting the quality of the press fit and the relationship between the press-mounting force and displacement of the bearing assembly are discussed. A press fit test device was established, the theoretical relationship between the press-mounting force and displacement of the bearing assembly is analyzed and verified, and the regularity of the real time variation of the press-mounting force & displacement curve is also analyzed. The above research is available to guide the bearing press fitting and tolerance design of related parts of a Guide Roller of a Certain Fluid Torque Converter during hot assembly. At the same time, it also provides verification support for the design and optimization of the press fitting parameters of the press fitting device.
