It has been a hot issue for a long time to optimize the combustion of large-scale power plant boiler.In the current tide of energy conservation,it becomes more important to achieve the goal of combustion optimization and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.Therefore,it is very important to real-timely monitor the boiler's combustion conditions and optimize it.However,it is difficult to accurately detect the boiler combustion conditions by conventional testing methods.The complexity of combustion adds even more difficulties.Power plant boiler flame monitoring and analyzing device uses CCD camera to capture real-time images in the boiler furnace,and analyzes images to get Black Dragon length,mixing intensity,diffusion angle and other information as the next important parameter for optimization of coal combustion in the furnace.This article first compares several DSP-based video capture projects,and finally sets the advantages of each project to design power plant boiler flame monitoring and analyzing device.Then this paper introduces power plant boiler flame monitoring and analyzing device from two aspects:hardware architecture and software architecture.For hardware,power plant boiler flame monitoring and analyzing device uses the separation of the core board and the interface circuit board design.Core board uses TMS320DM368 as the core processor,the Ethernet physical layer transceiver,Flash flash memory chips,DDR2 memory chips and low voltage detector together to form the smallest system.Interface circuit board uses TVP5150 as video decoder chip,TPS5430 as power chip.It also use analog signal output circuit to transfer image processing results into 4-20 mA current signal,which are sent to the DCS.In addition to these,Interface circuit board uses LED lights as the device operating status indicator.For software,power plant boiler flame monitoring and analyzing device uses multi-threaded software architecture.The program is divided into the main thread,video capture thread and video processing thread,and drive GPIO by the means of character device driver.The program also use thread hanging mechanism to complete function of digital-analog conversion chip.In the end,this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the device and prospects the future research direction.
