The suspension of automobile is one of the important components of automobile chassis.The K&C characteristics of the suspension are closely related to the performance of automobile handling stability,tire wear,handiness of steering and so on.The traditional suspension K&C optimization method is to optimize the suspension by using the suspension K&C test bench.However,the traditional optimization method is timeconsuming and costly.With the popularization of virtual prototype technology,the multibody dynamics model of suspension is established by computer,and the simulation and optimization of K&C characteristics of suspension is carried out on the virtual simulation laboratory platform,which has gradually become a major means for enterprises and universities to optimize and study the K&C characteristics of automobile suspension.In this paper,based on the optimization methods of K&C characteristics of automobile suspension at home and abroad,K characteristics of suspension are optimized respectively from the perspective of suspension structure,and C characteristics of suspension are optimized from the perspective of liner linear stiffness.In order to improve the efficiency of optimization,sensitivity design method and orthogonal design method are introduced respectively.The main research contents and methods of this paper are as follows:Firstly,according to the 3d mathematical model of the heavy truck front suspension provided by the enterprise,the multi-body dynamics model of the front suspension system was established,and the multi-body dynamics model was checked.The optimization target parameters of the suspension K characteristics were determined.The sensitivity design method was used to find out the hard point coordinates of the suspension with the sensitivity of the target parameters ranking the first four places.Taking these four coordinates as design variables,the K characteristics of the suspension were optimized with the idea of function approximation.The optimization objective parameters of the suspension C characteristics were determined,and the C characteristics of the suspension were optimized based on the linear stiffness of the bushing by using the orthogonal design method.Through the analysis of the optimization results,it is proved that the virtual prototyping technology can effectively optimize the K&C characteristics of the options.Secondly,combined with sensitivity design method and orthogonal experiment method,the optimization efficiency is greatly improved,the time cost is saved,and the research and development cycle of the enterprise is shortened.
