The Rise And Fall Of The "Haitang" Washing Machine (1978-2000)

After the reform and opening,according to the “six priority” strategic deployment of the textile industry in the country and Shanxi Province,While implementing the development strategy of energy and heavy chemical industry bases,A large number of domestic first-class brand-name light industrial enterprises and products marked by the “ Haitang ” washing machine produced by Changzhi Washing Machine Factory have emerged.Through the implementation of “light industry assembly war” and other series of measures.“Haitang Washing Machine” has won “Provincial Excellence”,“Ministry Excellence” products and national quality awards for many times,occupying a large market share in the country.The glory of“ Haitang ” is the result of continuous technological innovation,improvement of product quality and improvement of service quality.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the history of the development of washing machines and the history of the development of light industry in Shanxi occupies an important position.This thesis takes "Haitang" washing machine produced by Changzhi Washing Machine Factory as the research object,through extensive review of literature archives data and field investigation,combined with the relevant theories of enterprise technology innovation,systematically sorts out the process of technological innovation in the development process of "Haitang" washing machine factory,According to the theory of technological innovation and the characteristics of technological innovation of Changzhi washing machine factory,we discuss three aspects: imitation innovation,technology introduction and independent innovation,summarizing the enterprise Models,methods and measures for technological innovation in different periods to explore how companies deal with the relationship between government,economy and society in technological innovation.Finally,Combined with the reasons for the decline of the washing machine factory,the conclusions of this paper are drawn.The research results not only enrich the research historyof Shanxi local science and technology and the history of China’s washing machine development,but also provide inspiration and reference for the technological innovation and economic transformation of enterprises in Shanxi Province.
