This paper explores the construction design and calculation of automatic hoist used in the assembly line of automatic washing machine. Firstly, a theoretical exploration is given to the working principle of pneumatic vacuum adsorption and the selection of all sorts of components, which are applied to this particular project of the enterprise's technological innovation—automatic hoist. Secondly, the basic concepts, theories, methods, etc. of the mechanical reliability design are first introduced to the construction design of non-standard equipment in accordance with the characteristics of this construction design. A series of forecast calculations are adopted, from the reliability forecast of the system and the optimum distribution of unit reliability to the reliability design of the specific component—bolt, especially the reliability distribution of the units. Finally, this paper thoroughly calculates all the distribution methods, and selects the optimum design parameter.Through the construction design and the reliability design of the whole system, the automatic hoist meets the operational and technological requirements and accomplishes the task of the enterprise's technological innovation, which produces certain economic benefit after being put into application.
