With the continuous growth of China's economy and the pace of urbanization construction,China's investment in real estate construction is also growing.The increasing number of modern high-rise buildings has brought about the booming development of the elevator industry.As an indispensable means of transportation in a building,the safety and stability of the elevator have been closely watched by people.Realizing the real-time monitoring of elevator status information is one of the effective means to ensure safe and stable operation of elevators.In the current elevator security industry,cable video surveillance has always occupied a dominant position.This traditional surveillance mode has some shortcomings,such as complicated wiring,high equipment cost,and inconvenient maintenance,etc.To solve these problems,this paper develops an elevator remote real-time video transmission system based on Android.The whole system is mainly composed of three parts:video capture device,Remote service platform and Android client.Video capture device uses Samsung S5P4418 as the core controller to build the hardware platform.It carries Android system,captures video through USB camera,compresses data by H.264 encoder,encapsulates data through RTMP protocol,and finally transmits data to remote service platform.The remote service platform caches the video data and forwards it to the Android mobile client.Android client receives and plays video to realize the surveillance.After this,the system optimizes the transmission algorithms at the video capture device:realizes video transmission under low latency and weak network conditions;The system also gets the information of the elevator's running status by establishing communication with the elevator main control board,which enriches the monitoring functions.The video transmission system designed in this paper has achieved the expected goals well.It can realize remote real-time monitoring of the picture inside the elevator car with low delay,small amount of data and clear picture.The monitoring system has the advantages of flexibility,low cost and rich interface interaction,which has broad market application prospects.
