Population aging is a significant trend of the 21st century,a major facing challenge of society and government.As a basic unit for people to live in,community plays an important role in social space for elderly people.Community outdoor's environment is an important factor affecting the elderly to socialize,entertainment,physical exercise and other activities.Under the background of the contradiction between the increasingly accelerated population aging and the lack of old-age care services,the appropriate aging reconstruction of existing communities is a topic of great research significance.This paper is divided into four chapters,which can be mainly divided into three parts:Firstly,the paper discusses the research background and analyzes the current situation of pension through literature review,to clarify the main contradiction of the problem and the direction of research;Then,the relevant theoretical research is sorted out.It mainly interprets the concept of friendly community for the elderly and builds a basic theoretical framework for subsequent studies;Finally,through a detailed investigation of the community of Dongguan railway village in Chuzhou,the paper analyzes the problems of outdoor living,and combines with the above theoretical research.It summarizes that six basic criteria for adapting the age community,and proposes corresponding design strategies from three major itemost the road layout,construction form and environmental thread.The article's overall structure is basically in accordance with the "demand----planning" as the main line,hoping through the results of field research,summarizing the environmental needs of the elderly friendly community for architects,environmental planners and community development associations to improve the community environment.
