Research On Green Space Landscape Quality Improvement Design Based On LID Concept

In the traditional landscape design in campus,the application of impervious hard pavement design cause partial or total water pooling while a rainstorm occurred,which brings the inconvenience to teachers and students.The low impact development(LID)contains ecological engineering,drainage engineering,landscape design,hydrology and so on,which can effectively solve the problem of pooling.The present study based on the green space landscape in Zhangjiajie college,Jishou University,reviews the theories of LID at home and abroad,and assess the current situation of green space landscape scientifically and objectively.The landscape layout,water supply and drainage,sketch,furniture,plants configuration and other aspect were designed.The studies suggested that green space landscape system have been formed.Unfortunately,the layout of landscape was too random to design,the characteristics is not distinct,water is not economical and safe due to the urban water in pipe network,hard pavement and plant configuration is not reasonable,the landscape drainage is not effective,lighting design is not enough,the management and the benefits are difficult to show.Hence,the “one belt and three districts” was constructed.“one belt” defend as the leisure and sightseeing zone of wushi river,and “three areas” refers to the work.Living and reception area.The LID concept is emphasized during the whole design process.The main factors to be considered in the design process were the cost and safety of water in the landscape system,the fluidity of drainage system,and the absorption and transpiration capacity of landscape plants.The results indicated that the application of LID concept is feasible,sustainable and forward-looking in green space landscape design.It is an advanced method to improve the quality of campus landscape and obtain the best combination of ecological,economic and social effect.
