With the further research and construction of smart grid technology,substation,as an important node of smart grid,will develop in the direction of intelligence and informatization.Communication network is the physical path for all kinds of information exchange in substation.Its real-time and reliability have an important impact on the information transmission in the station and the communication with the outside world.It can be seen that it is necessary to study the reliability of the communication network system.At present,for the communication network system with complex structure and numerous equipments,the modeling and calculation process of most methods are very cumbersome.In order to solve the problem,the GO method is introduced into the reliability analysis of the communication network system,and the modeling and calculation process is optimized.The GO method is used to analyze the reliability of the networking mode of the intelligent substation communication network.The primary task of the research is to determine the networking mode of the communication network.Combined with the network topology structure,the network of the station control layer adopts the three-ring type,the double-star type and the ring-star type redundant structure,and the double-star redundant structure is adopted for the process layer network.With reference to the success criteria,the structure of the communication network and the main equipment are used to start the visualization system,and the column of the state probability formula group is completed.The reliability calculation is carried out by MATLAB program simulation and quantitative evaluation is proposed.By comparing the reliability of different networking modes,the results show that the dual-ring redundancy structure of station control layer network has high reliability,and verify that the reliability of the process layer network under the actual engineering communication mode is up to the standard when the dual-star redundancy structure is adopted.Establishing the reliability model of the communication network system should go deep into the component level,introduce the component probability importance analysis into the system,and determine the weak link of the communication network structure.Combined with the reliability parameters of the main components of the system,through sensitivity analysis,the important equipment in the system is pointed out.The results show that the most significant impact on system reliability is the fiber link,followed by the switch.A reasonable improvement scheme is proposed with reference to the better redundant structure.The switch implements the centralized backup and cross-standby connection mode,and further evaluates the reliability by using the GO method,and takes the actual switch as an example to complete the economic discussion.Based on the theory of GO method,combined with the 220 kV process layer network and topology structure of a Smart Substation in a certain area,this paper presents the way to improve the communication network structure in theory and the method to improve the reliability from the process layer switch.
