With the development of society, people's living standard is improving, and the number of cars is increasing.People's travel efficiency has been improved which brought a lot of negative problems.Traffic accidents occur frequently, road congestion is serious, parking difficulties and other problems become more and more serious.Researchers proposed a large scale mobile ad hoc network(Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks,VANETs)to solve these problems. The application of VANETs not only reduces the occurrence of traffic safety accidents, but also improves traffic efficiency and driving experience. However,VANETs is based on wireless communication.Due to the vulnerability and openness of wireless network, the protection of location privacy of VANETs is also facing great challenges. In VANETs,when the vehicle communicates with each other,it needs to ensure that the message sent out by itself is authenticated, but it does not want the message to reveal its privacy during the authentication process. On this basis,we put forward a proposal to handle this problem. The contributions of this thesis are as follows:1.A deniable authentication protocol based on projective hash function is constructed. This kind of hash function can be calculated by the private hashing key or the public projection key and the witness that a word belongs to an NP language. Therefore, this property can be used to design the authentication between the two parties. On the other hand, this authentication is deniable as the communication transcript can be simulated without any secrets by rewinding steps.Consequently, the receiver accepts this authentication while he can not convince anyone else that this authentication has occurred.2.A location-privacy preserving scheme based on deniable authentication while accessing to Wi-Fi hotpots is proposed.A vehicle is location exposed when it accesses to the Wi-Fi hotpots for the connection records and the hotspots location. Our scheme protects the vehicle location by using the deniable authentication in that it provides off-the-record of the conversation. Our simulation shows our scheme is feasible.3.The IEEE 802.11 p protocol used in Vehicle Ad Hoc Network is simulated by using the Simulation of Urban Mobility(SUMO)and the Network Simulator(NS3).The packet loss rate, average delay and throughput of different vehicles are analyzed, and the experimental results are presented in the form of graph.
