Because of involving personal information such as position and speed, a malicious attacker by collecting the information of the driver's driving route, or habits can threat the driver's life and property safety, the value of vanet will be greatly reduced.If a malicious attacker spread false information, it will seriously affect the traffic order. Vanet should be supposed to ensure the safety of the user's privacy and track the real identity of the one who spreading false information in a dispute event, so that the one who do bad things can be investigated for their responsibility. The people who don't have done malicious behavior should be guaranteed their personal information, driving habits and the security of driving route, so that we have to consider the security and privacy protection of vanet.In view of the problem that the dynamic characteristics of vehicle nodes and the problem of failure certification if the vehicle is illegal are not fully considered in the process of VANET communication with RSU, a dynamic group vehicle node authentication method based on RSU is proposed.The agent of the vehicle node and RSU create a group after mutual authentication. The surrounding vehicle information was collected by the agent and sent to the RSU, RSU will batch certification the vehicle nodes. The corresponding maintenance method will be selected when group's member join in or exit. Simulation results show that the delay is below IBV scheme and remain unchanged, when binary search level is the least and the number of vehicles increases; With the increase of binary searchlevel, certification success rate is improved but the delay will be extended; Increasing the number of RSU,the communication time delay is shortenedin the RAISE scheme, but keep in our method.Most research about VANET authentication has not considered the RSU-aidedand thenone RSU-aided authentication method at the same time, this article combines the actual situation, and proposes the none RSU-aided authentication method.Because of the unstable communication problem between vehicle and distributed communication center in thedistributed pseudonym management authentication method, distributed anonymous mutual authentication is proposed. First, vehicle preloaded part pseudonymous certificate and get pseudonymous certificate from the pseudonym management nearby when all pseudonymous certification is used. The vehiclecarry on the anonymous mutual authentication using the system parameters pre load to guarantees legitimacy of the vehicle node, and reduce the communication between the vehicle node and the distributed authentication center. Performance analysis results show that the anonymous mutual authentication reduces the communication overhead and computational overhead of authentication.
