Locomotives,which are the source of power for the entire train,play an indispensable role in the rail transport system.Locomotive maintenance can maintain and improve the transport capacity of the railway,if it reliably ensures the locomotive operation.And it has become a core part for rail transport business management.Therefore,it has become a significant task to improve the locomotive maintenance technology.In this paper,the goal is to optimize China's diesel locomotive "repair process" according to the phenomenon referring to "excess repair" and "insufficient repair" of "regular maintenance" and "on-condition maintenance" under the current "planned preventive repair"system.From the perspective of reliability theory and mechanical and mechanical system damage mechanism,three key issues included reliable system evaluation of the locomotives,the determination method of locomotive damage degree and maintenance period,and the dynamic optimization of locomotive maintenance are studied in theory.The completed aspects are as followings:(1)The problems reflected by the overall and large parts of the locomotive after the improvement of the locomotive are diagnosed.The maintenance cycle and and life cycle of the imported diesel engine and the mainly key components are effectively extended and determined by purposefully using the reliability theory analysis.(2)For the reliability evaluation of diesel locomotive system,the reliability block diagram of diesel locomotive system is established,and a reliability evaluation index of each component of locomotive is given.A reliability calculation model of mechatronic system is established;and the series-parallel system is based on Based on the reliability evaluation method,the reliability calculation model and algorithm of diesel locomotive system are proposed.(3)According to the linear cumulative damage theory,a new conception of cumulative damage degree of diesel locomotive is proposed for different damage mechanisms of mechanical and electrical parts of diesel locomotive.The cumulative damage degree calculation model of diesel locomotive diesel engine,motor and axle is established.(4)Based on the system of series-parallel relationship,the calculation method of cumulative damage degree of the whole vehicle is given,and a technical scheme for damage detection of important components is proposed.The method proposed in this paper can further reduce the maintenance cost,improve the maintenance level for the railway in China and provide a theoretical reference for determining the maintenance schedule of the locomotive.
