Epoxy resin concrete is a kind of building material with high efficiency,environmental protection and energy saving,which has developed rapidly in recent years.However,due to the lack of basic theoretical research,the application of epoxy resin concrete in engineering construction is basically limited to the reinforcement of structures,and has not been widely used as a complete structural material.In this paper,epoxy resin concrete is used as structural material,and the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete beam members are analyzed by experiment and finite element simulation analysis.Firstly,the failure mode and crack development of epoxy resin concrete beams were observed during the test.The test data including ultimate bearing capacity and mid-span deflection of epoxy resin concrete beams,the strain of epoxy resin concrete on the side of beams and the strain of steel bars in beams were obtained.The results show that the elastic properties of epoxy resin concrete beams are excellent and the deformation caused by loads can be effectively controlled.Secondly,the test and simulation results of epoxy resin concrete beams are compared to verify the reliability of the test results.By changing the design parameters of the simulated beams,the effects of different factors on the flexural and shear properties and bearing capacity of epoxy resin concrete beams are found.The results show that the experimental and simulation results are in good agreement.With the decrease of span-height ratio,the flexural performance of epoxy resinconcrete beams is improved,and with the increase of shear-span ratio,the shear performance of epoxy resin concrete beams is decreased.Finally,the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete beams are theoretically analyzed by using the simplified mechanical models and bearing capacity calculation methods of several main concrete beams at home and abroad.The results show that the flexural capacity of epoxy resin concrete beams is slightly higher than that of ordinary concrete beams,and the shear capacity of epoxy resin concrete beams is greatly improved.The theoretical error of flexural and shear capacity of epoxy resin concrete beams is small,which verifies that the current Code for Design of Concrete Structures in China is applicable to the design of epoxy resin concrete beams.Through the research in this paper,the influence of different factors on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete beam members is determined,which provides a theoretical basis for further research and promotes the wide application of epoxy resin concrete in the field of building structure.
