There are many flood storage areas in the Huaihe River Basin,which is an important part of the flood control system of the Huaihe River Basin.They bear the responsibility of diverting the main stream flood and ensuring the safety of the dike.Due to its particularity,the flood storage area will demage the interests of the residents in the area while protecting the safety of the downstream embankment.In recent years,the actual number of operations in flood storage areas has been small,and with the development of water conservancy projects,the operation mode of flood storage areas has been changed from the previous manual crevices and blasting floods to gates,making the application process controllable.Therefore,how to choose a scientific operation mode that control the flood process in flood diversion area,and give full play to the best role of flood storage area in lowering the water level of the main river,so as to ensure the safety of flood control and reduce the losses caused by flood disasters,this is an urgent problem to be solved at present.The research area of this paper is the section of the Huaihe River from Zhengyangguan to Xiashankou after the implementation of the “Huaihe Dry Flood Storage Area Adjustment Plan”.Taking the maximum measured flood of Huaihe River(the 1954-type flood in a hundred years)as the research object,the DHI MIKE series software is used to establish the one-dimensional and two-dimensional coupled hydrodynamic mathematical model of the river channel,and simulate the flood evolution process in the flood discharge area under different dispatching schemes.Finally,the results are compared and analyzed,in order to obtain a more reasonable plan for the operation of flood discharge area.The main research results of the program are as follows:(1)The MIKE11 software was used to establish a one-dimensional hydrodynamic model of the Zheng-Xia River section in the mainstream of the Huaihe River.Meanwhile,the MIKE21 software was used to establish a two-dimensional model of the Shouxi Lake and Dongfeng Lake flood discharge area.Combined with the roughness table,the trial and error method was used to determine the roughness of the main stream.The river roughness was determined by using the water level process data of Zhengyangguan and Lutaizi in 2003 and 2007.(2)Taking the Shouxi Lake flood discharge area as an example,the influence of different opening sequence of the gate on the flooding effect is studied.Taking the Shouxi Lake flood discharge area as an example to study the effect of different opening sequence of the gate on the flooding effect,and setting different activation schemes for the inlet and exit gates.According to the results of the 1954-type flood in the past 100 years,the flood diversion flow process of the intake and exit flood gates under different schemes and the flood discharge effect of the flood discharge area are analyzed.From the analysis results,it is concluded that the plan to delay the opening of the flood gate in the flood-prone area and to exert the flood storage effect in the flood-prone area can better exert the flood-fighting effect when dealing with the 1954-type flood in the past 100 years.(3)The comparison and analysis of the Shouxi Lake and Dongfeng Lake flood discharge area respectively opened up the impact on the mainstream of the main stream,and set up a combination scheme of two flood discharge area with different opening times to simulate the flood evolution.According to the simulation results,the scheme was evaluated from the water level lowering process,the reduction of the overdesign water level duration and the reduction of the flood peak water level.The results show that the flood control effect is better when the Shouxi Lake flood discharge area is closer to the water level control station.And according to the flood,the flooding effect will be better if the flooding area opening time is properly delayed.
