In recent years,the manipulating comfort as one of the core competitiveness of automotive design innovation has attracted much attention.The shifter of transmission is one of the most frequently used mechanisms in the driving process,due to the limitation of its design method,shifting performance is hard to meet the driver's requirements.Therefore,based on multi-body system dynamics theory and finite element analysis method,this paper studies the key technology on design and simulation key for shifter of automobile manual transmission,and explores a more effective design method.In order to improving the poor shifting requirements due to the design problem of shift groove curve,this paper proposes a design method of shift groove curve.First,the geometric model and physical model of shifter of automobile manual transmission are established based on the theory of multi-body dynamics,and the contact dynamics model is established based on the Hertz contact theory.Second,the shift groove curve model is established based on the parametric technique,the objective function and constraint function are created by the shift force and angular deformation function.Finally,the shift groove curve satisfying the shift requirements is obtained through optimization.In order to inspect the strength and rigidity performance,static analysis of the shifter on forward gear is performed.First,the finite element of the shifter is established based on the finite element method.Second,material model and connection are established.Finally,boundary conditions are established,and solving.In order to simulate the impact test of the shifter,the impact analysis of the shifter on neutral impacted by heavy hammer is performed.Firstly,the physical model and the mathematical model are established based on the stress and deformation theory of the rod subjected to impact in the dynamic load problem.And the static deformation of the shift tube and the speed of the impact were obtained.Finally,the impact simulation was performed using the ANSYS explicit dynamics.Based on the topology optimization theory,lightweight design of the base of the shifter is performed with OptiStruct.Including Using preprocessing by Hypermesh,establishing the finite element model of the base,defining the material properties and boundary conditions,setting solution parameters.The optimized structure was modified after solving,and the rationality of the optimized structure was verified by static analysis.
