Springback of the rubber pad hydraulic forming technology(referred to as rubber forming)is one of the key forming technologies for aviation sheet metal parts.It has the characteristics of strong adaptability,high forming efficiency and good surface quality of formed parts,and has been widely used in the field of aviation aerospace manufacturing.However,the springback of the rubber pad hydraulic forming is one of the important factors affecting the forming quality.Establishing the springback process digital model of sheet metal components is an important way to achieve springback compensation.This paper first introduces the springback compensation method of sheet metal parts that is commonly used at present.It analyzes the application characteristics and applicable conditions of various methods,and summarizes the problems currently faced by the hydraulic compensation springback compensation technology.This paper introduces two common methods of obtaining springback data and the established ways of springback database,and proposes three operational algorithms for adding,modifying and deleting springback database.At the same time,in this paper,a new viewpoint based on the Mold Line Theory and Single-section Correction is established by combining Single-section Springback Correction with Multi-section Surface Fitting to reconstruct the springback-compensated surface of the sheet metal components.On this basis,the important ways of establishing the springback process digital model,such as the bending edge compensation method,the subsidence deepening processing method and the secondary crimping processing method,are summarized in innovative ways.Rapid generation of the springback-compensated model is realized by redeveloping CATIA and establishing the embedded springback database.The software system adapts to the springback process design of most aviation sheet metal and profile parts.The basic functional modules of the software include Design Basis and Approval Information,Unilateral Sheet Metal Springback Compensation,Unilateral Profile Springback Compensation,and Connection and Body Generation.The software system is verified by an example.The test results show that the software system can achieve the expected functions.Through the software efficiency test and the rubber pad hydraulic forming test,it is verified that the software system has improved the generation efficiency of the springback digital model by more than three times and meets the actual production accuracy requirements.
