With the rapid economic development,the demand of all countries for important energy such as coal and oil has been increasing greatly and a large amount of intelligent electrical equipment will be applied to dangerous environments such as mines.Safe power supply for the equipment is thus significant.Power supply must be safe and reliable and meet explosion-proof requirements in hazardous environments such as the mines.Intrinsically safe power supply is the best form of explosion-proof power supply.Intrinsically safe power supply is the most important part to ensure the intrinsic safety of the system.Intrinsically safe power supply design focuses on ensuring that the energy gathered by the intrinsically safe power output does not ignite the surrounding explosives during normal and fault conditions.Some research and analysis is made on the performance of current intrinsically safe power supply technology and found out the following deficiencies:First of all,the characteristics of explosion proof system and intrinsically safe power supply are studied;second,the function of the intrinsically safe power supply is single and the protection current is relatively small.Based on the above-mentioned deficiencies of intrinsically safe power and the mature switching power supply technology,the switching power supply technology is applied to the design of intrinsically safe power supply in this thesis and an intrinsically safe uninterruptible power supply with multi-function output is designed:12V/1A.Adopting Modularization idea and applying switching Power supply Technology the output-type intrinsically safe and uninterruptible power supply is divided into three modules:the single-end fly-back AC/DC power supply module,backup power supply module and truncated protection circuit module.The principle and method of designing the three modules are also given.The method is introduced in detail and then the circuit is simulated and tested.from the data obtained we can see that the designed three modules of the circuit can work correctly and the power supply has the advantages of reliable output,fast reaction speed and small ripple and achieve the basic parameter requirements and the feasibility of the design is proved.
