Study On The Renewal Design Of Traditional Village Public Space Under The Background Of Local Culture

With the acceleration of urbanization and the intervention of various "modernity"factors,the social structure and spatial form of traditional villages have undergone earth-shaking changes.How to retain "homesickness" while developing is an urgent problem for traditional villages.As an important part of traditional villages,public space is an important place for villagers’ production,work and daily life.It carries the historical and cultural context of traditional villages,is the material space carrier of local culture,and is also the source of rural social and cohesion.The public space of traditional villages in southern Shandong region as the research object,takes the inheritance of local culture as the starting point,and takes the villagers’material and spiritual needs as the starting point,to discuss the feasible renewal strategy of the public space of traditional villages.Firstly,through the analysis of relevant basic theories and the research of local culture,the coupling between local culture and public space is summarized.Secondly through on-the-spot investigation,summarize traditional villages in southern Shandong area and its local culture,the physical environment of traditional village public space in southern region and analyses the effect of social life,to learn public space of the actual demand of the villagers,it is concluded that the status quo of the traditional village public space in southern Shandong problem,and the representative of southern Shandong area and update of traditional village settlement case analysis in the traditional villages need reference and pay attention to in the process of public space to update.Finally,taking the protection and inheritance of local culture as the entry point,the effective path of public space renewal is discussed from the macro,medium and micro levels.Extracting the local cultural elements,from the material and spiritual aspects,the specific content of the renewal of public space is summarized.Finally,this paper takes the ancient village of Xi Shan as an example to conduct an empirical study to achieve the combination of theory and practice,in the hope of providing help for the renewal of traditional village public space in southern Shandong.
