Landscape Design Of Campus Under Ecological Aesthetics

The issue of environmental degradation is increasing all over the world nowadays.People have gradually realized if they want to live in a beautiful ecological environment continuously,it is necessary not only to pay attention to ecological ideas,but also to pay attention to aesthetic ideas.The integration between ecology and aesthetics has formed an interdisciplinary--ecological aesthetics.With the continuous expansion of students in the universities in China,some campuses have been built and expanded quickly and a large number of buildings and hard pavements have increased.However,the development the plant landscape was ignored.In order to more consciously purify and beautify the landscape of campus,some universities have introduced foreign plants and have added the plant communities,based on the preservation of native plants.On one hand,they developed ecological functions of plants to improve the climate,clean air and reduce noise.On the other hand,through the various forms and changeable features of plants,to create colorful plant communities,and to develop the landscape functions of leaf forms,leaf colors,flower patterns and branch postures.These initiatives are necessary to create a landscape of ecological aesthetics in campus,which has a great significance to promote the construction of campus ecology,and is also an effective way to beautify the landscape of campus.This essay tries to make some suggestions for the construction of ecological landscape of campus from the perspective of ecological aesthetics and the landscape of campus.Firstly,this essay summarizes the ecological aesthetics and the landscape of campus,and puts forward the existing problems of the landscape of campus.The necessity of building the landscape of campus of ecological aesthetics also will be analyzed.Secondly,it describes the principle of landscape design of the campus under the ecological aesthetics through elaborating the functions of plant landscape in campus,the use of artistic principles,the values of landscape and the allocations of landscape with other elements,which provide scientific and artistic design methods for the plant landscape of campuses of universities.Thirdly,this essay states aexample of classical traditional garden,called Sui Garden,which provide a theoretical basis of plant landscape for the modern campuses that "pay attention to architecture,ignore the green plants".Finally,according to the trends of plant landscape of ecological benefits,visual images and people-oriented concept in campus,to put forward the idea of using ecological aesthetics concept,learning plant design from classical gardens and paying attention to the continuation and innovation of traditional culture,and to propose a unique view of building plant landscape for the design of campus in university.
