Street Space Quality Evaluation Of Historical And Cultural Streets Based On Street View Map

In the rapid modernization construction,the combination of cultural heritage and modern life has become an important topic.The streets of historical and cultural districts not only inherit the historical and cultural connotations,but also bear the functions of tourism,transportation and residence.On both sides of the street,there are not only ancient buildings that inherit historical culture,but also residents who continue history and culture.Street space is a public space for traditional cultural exchanges.Historical and cultural streets are historical and cultural,and the principles and methods of protection are different from those of other ordinary streets.Street traffic has become more disorderly with unreasonable design,and the street environment has become more and more deteriorated with the increase of vehicles,which has led to the breakage of the street texture of traditional historical and cultural blocks,and the historical and cultural atmosphere has been destroyed.Guangzhou is carrying out the construction of demonstration roads.The evaluation of street space in historical and cultural blocks is conducive to objectively understanding the current situation of historical and cultural streets.Based on the existing literatures at home and abroad,this paper uses Guangzhou historical and cultural blocks as an empirical research area to construct an evaluation system from three aspects: the material elements,the perceptual elements and the connotation of historical and cultural blocks.The streetscape map data,floor height data,road network data,etc.of the 22 historical and cultural districts in Guangzhou were obtained,and then the SD method was used to evaluate the streetscape maps of Guangzhou residents and combined with field questionnaires.Then the entropy weight method is used to obtain the street space quality evaluation value,and the evaluation results are analyzed.Finally,the Pearson correlation coefficient is used to analyze the correlation between the objective material element index and the perceptual factor index and the historical and cultural connotation index.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the material elements and perceptual elements of street space,three elements of the street space quality evaluation system of historical and cultural blocks are constructed: material elements,perceptual elements,historical and cultural connotations,and 14 micro-level indicators are formed.It is feasible to evaluate the quality of street space in historical and cultural blocks.(2)Based on the street view map,it is feasible to evaluate the street space quality of historical and cultural blocks.Respondents can score the indicators of street space more realistically and objectively through the street view map.Compared with the static view of the street view through machine learning,Using a street view map obtained by pedestrian browsing is beneficial to the respondent's perception of the overall style of the street.(3)The quality of street space in Guangzhou historical and cultural blocks is different,and the gap is large.The evaluation value of historical and cultural connotation of each street differs greatly,while the distribution value of perceptual factor index and objective material element index are evenly distributed.In the streets of historical and cultural districts,users pay more attention to the connotation of historical and cultural blocks,followed by human perception,and finally objective material elements.
