Construction cost control is an important link in the construction management of construction projects.Traditional construction cost control is affected by factors such as market environment and conceptual constraints.It has gradually exposed the problems that can not keep up with the requirements of industrialization and information age of construction industry,especially in Port Engineering characterized by mass concrete.BIM technology has found a new concept and method for construction cost control,which solves the problems exposed in traditional construction cost control to a certain extent.According to the development experience of developed countries in the West,the construction phase and operation and maintenance phase are the real value of BIM.Especially in the construction phase,how to use BIM technology is a key issue and research content that is urgently needed and urgently needed in the domestic construction industry.Based on the full study of BIM technology and construction cost control,this paper controls the construction cost of large-volume concrete in port engineering in real time and dynamically through multi-dimensional(time,space,WBS)cost analysis technology of BIM5 D platform.First,the BIM technology and port engineering construction cost control theory are analyzed.Then,the shortcomings of traditional construction cost control are summarized,and the construction cost control process of port engineering based on BIM5 D platform is proposed.From 3D modeling to 4D construction simulation,to contract planning,resource curve,capital curve and resource comparison in 5D stage,explore the application process of BIM5 D in port construction cost control.Finally,combined with the application research of Xiamen Haicang 11# Liquid Chemical Terminal Berth Project,the feasibility of the construction cost control method based on BIM5 D platform proposed in this paper is verified.Therefore,under the background of vigorously promoting informationization and industrialization in China’s construction industry,BIM technology is applied to the cost control of large-scale concrete layer construction in port engineering,which provides ascientific basis for the application and exploration of construction management practice.
