Study Of The Relationship Between Community Residents’ Satisfaction And Resettlement Areas

In the recent 30 years,the process of urbanization in Shanghai has been accelerating,the city has been expanding outward and urban infrastructure has taken great changes.In order to stimulate the vitality of urban central areas,relieve the pressure of urban population,improve the urban style and enhance the image of the city,a large number of old urban areas in the city can not meet the demands of modern urban life.Older community residents in urban centers are located on urban fringes away from urban areas.Through demolition and resettlement,the individual living conditions of have been improved a lot.However,residents also lose their rights to use high-quality public facilities in urban centers and the original social network also has been severely damaged.According to the demolition time,demolition policy,resettlement distance and other factors,this paper analyses three demolished and resettlement residential communities in Shanghai as the research objects,which are respectively Taopu village of Putuo district in 1994,Huabinjiayuan in Xuhui district in2008 and Huazhongyuan in Qingpu District in 2013.Community residents in the five dimensions of individual living conditions,commuter commuting,supporting facilities conditions,public activity space and community management,this paper uses the theories of architecture,urban planning and sociology to discuss the relationship between residents satisfaction evaluation behind the specific phenomenon and itsinfluencing factors.Through the horizontal and vertical comparison of the resettlement plots with different backgrounds,the problems of resettlement community satisfaction evaluation are found,and the compensation and resettlement policies,community management,apartment layout design and public space reform in resettlement areas are reconstructed from the perspective of sociology and architecture respectively.The five dimensions of satisfaction behind the phenomenon and the impact of factors,from the architectural perspective and sociological perspectives,the author has explained and analyzed.And separately put forward suggestions on relocation compensation and resettlement policies,community management,apartment layout design and public space reform design.The author hopes to make contributions to the improvement of the government relocation and resettlement policies in the future and provide new ideas for the planning and design of resettlement areas.
