The surface temperature of the hypersonic vehicle is raised rapidly during the re-entry process of the hypersonic vehicle, which is accompanied by the very serious aerodynamic heating phenomenon. For hypersonic flight vehicle, because of the serious aerodynamic heating in the process of reentry into the atmosphere, heat insulation tile should be installed on the surface of hypersonic vehicle to protect inside strutures.Because the heat insulation tile is brittle material,it will expand and fracture when heated,so it is laid on the body surface in the form of block array. There are gaps between each row of insulating tile, and the gaps between rows also have dislocation. The parameters of gaps of insulating tile will affect the contact force between the loaded rear tile.In order to study the effect of cracks on deformation, different sizes of insulating tiles are laid on a square metre floor. The parameterized model is realized by the Python language and the approximate model is established by means of experimental design.By using ISIGHT and ABAQUS to optimize the approximate model of flat panel array thermal insulation tile, the optimal layout scheme of slot parameters is obtained.AbstractThe result shows that the gap width has a greater effect on the contact stress than the gap spacing. The smaller the gap width is,the greater the contact stress is.The gap spacing can be selected as half of the side length of the thermal insulation tile.
