Research On Urban Spatial Reconstruction Strategy Of Zhongguancun Science City East Zone Reconstruction Project From The Perspective Of Unit Compound

Urban renewal in China is in the transitional stage from incremental development to stock development.Under the background of the continuous development of urban modernization,the traditional residential community in China is facing transformation.Unit compound is a special community formed in 1950 s in China,which contains unique community culture and collective memory.In the process of urban development and renovation of unit compounds,how to protect and inherit community culture and collective memory while renewing and renovating the courtyards to meet the needs of public services and living environment,will be an important issue in urban renewal and community renovation in China.This paper takes the renewal planning of the eastern part of Zhongguancun Science City as the research object.Based on the related research on the relevant theories of urban renewal and community renewal,the community renovation of traditional units’ courtyards,the reorganization and analysis of the cases of the renovation of domestic and foreign unit compounds or industrial workers’ living areas,the basic ideas and methods of the renewal of unit compounds are analysed.The methods include organic transformation,humanized renovation,cultural and inheritance protection,and open renovation.Through the survey of the current situation of Zhongguancun area and the east of Zhongguancun Science City,this study analyzed and sorted out the characteristics and problems of the present situation of the unit compounds in the east of Zhongguancun Science City.In view of the existing problems in the east of Zhongguancun Science City,this paper puts forward the development goals of improving the urban spatial structure,enriching the types of community commercial services,remolding the collective memory of the community,protecting and inheriting the history and culture in the process of the transformation of the east of Zhongguancun Science City.According to the development objectives,this paper puts forward some strategies for community renewal and transformation,such as combining district planning with overall planning,developing "order-based" commercial service industry,remolding community cultural environment with the concept of Garden neighborhood community,protecting and inheriting historical and cultural connotations.This study will analyse in domestic and foreign city renewal and community transformation theories and the classical cases.Based on the survey of the Zhongguancun Science City East situation,this paper analysesthe characteristics of the present situation and existing problems of unit compound,and puts forward the unit compound renewal planning goals and planning strategies.This study has a guiding significance to the renewal planning of the unit compound in the eastern part of Zhongguancun Science City.There is a great significance to improve the theoretical system of urban organic renewal and community renovation in China.This study will supplement and improve the theory of urban organic renewal and community renovation in China.At the same time,it will provide theoretical guidance for the practice of unit yard renovation in other areas of China,and it is of great significance to the practice of unit yard renovation in China.
