In order to solve the problems,including difficulty in reusing empirical process knowledge,normative poor while designing process route,weak ability of visual process information expression,low efficiency of process resource allocation and not easy to preserve process documents which are recorded by papers,which happened in marine diesel engine manufacturing enterprise when using the current pattern of designing process for key parts’ of marine diesel engine,a general scheme for integrated CAPP system is built after considering the requirements of enterprise for 3D process design system.Through solving the core technical problems,such as the management of process information,the design of process route,the generation of process model,the allocation of process resource and the release of 3D process,which exist in integrated environment,the road between design and manufacturing will be connected and the fast design of process will come true based on using MBD model as the only information source for integration.Finally,an integrated CAPP prototype system based on MBD is built.In order to verify the reliability and stability of the prototype system,a connecting rod that is one of the key parts of marine diesel engine is used as the verification object.The contents and achievements of the research are as follows:(1)The technology of managing integrated process information is researched.Through constructing organization models of process information and substituting the object of process into model,the structured process planning will be built to manage all types of process information that produced while designing process.(2)The variant design technology of structured process route based on feature grouping is researched.Firstly,the template of process route is established.Secondly,the features of machining parts are defined(including the code of feature).Thirdly,the connected relationship between coded features and steps that are saved in the template of process route is built by using the method of feature grouping.Finally,through selecting process based on variant rules,the process route for typical parts will be derived.(3)The technology of designing three-dimensional process model is researched.The intermediate process model(steps information is Encapsulated in view)in each process is created gradually with the method of inverse the sequence of process.Through the technology of wave to achieve the relationship between adjacent process models.At the same time,after acquiring the connected relationship between machining features and operation of building model,applying the technology of synchronous modeling,the process model is rapidly created by using auxiliary modeling tool.(4)The technology of process resource allocation is researched.Through building the model used to preserve the information of process resource,evaluating process resource based on the quality of process and twice screening for process resource,the sequential process unit(divided by process)in the structured process route will be configured with machining equipment(machine tool)which meet the machining requirements.(5)The method of releasing the result of three-dimensional process planning is researched.According to the requirements of releasing visual process,a visual template that can dynamically browsing three-dimensional process planning is customized.Through building the connected relationship between process data and process template based on mapping mechanism of process data that achieved by xml technology,the result of three-dimensional process planning can be browsed through the web.
