| With the development of a new round of scientific and technological revolution,modern information technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence have been valued and widely applied in every walk of life.Intelligent and automated ports have also become the new direction of port development.Major ports in the world attach great importance to building technology-intensive "smart ports" based on modern information technology.However,information technology investment is a complex,long and costly system project.It is necessary to explore the impact of information technology investment on the performance of port enterprises.At present,there are few researches on this aspect in China.Therefore,this paper takes the port listed companies with strong management ability and perfect information construction as the research object to discuss the relationship between information technology investment and the comprehensive performance of port enterprises.Based on the resource-based theory and complementary theory,this paper reviews the domestic and foreign research literature on enterprise performance evaluation and the impact of information technology investment on enterprise performance,and puts forward the hypothesis of the relationship between information technology investment and port enterprise performance.Finally,the empirical analysis model was established by taking the intensity of investment in IT software and hardware and the intensity of technical labor input as explanatory variables,the comprehensive performance value calculated based on BSC as explanatory variables,and the intensity of investment in non-IT fixed assets and the listing years of enterprises as control variables.Firstly,based on the BSC Theory and combined with the characteristics of port performance evaluation,this paper selects a total of 10 evaluation indexes from the four dimensions of finance,customer,internal process,learning and development to construct the port enterprise performance evaluation index system.Secondly,the objective entropy method is used to calculate the weight of each evaluation index and each performance dimension,and finally the comprehensive performance value of each port enterprise is obtained.Eviews7.2 software is used to conduct multiple linear regression of the relationship between port listed information technology investment and enterprise comprehensive performance,and the empirical results is analyzed.In this paper,it is found that the investment intensity of software and hardware in information technology has a negative impact on comprehensive performance in the short term,and shows a positive correlation at the level of 10% until the fifth year after the investment,It is indicated that the influence of hardware and software investment on performance is lagging behind.The impact of the intensity of technology labor input on the performance of port enterprises in the current period and three years behind is significantly positive,it shows that human capital of information technology can bring a return to the enterprise in the short term.In the last chapter,according to the empirical results and research conclusions,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of government behavior,enterprise financial situation and resource integration,enterprise talent management and so on. |
