Underwater vehicles are important types of naval equipment.The Underwater vehicles’ concealment and underwater navigation capabilities are extremely important for underwater vehicles.This is a huge threat when fighting other enemy fleets.The snorkel mast of the underwater vehicle is an important structure for the underwater vehicle to exchange gas under water.The better the performance of the snorkel mast,the higher the strength,the better the underwater vehicle’s concealability and underwater navigation ability.In order to ensure better subtle performance and underwater navigation capability of the underwater vehicle,studying the hydrodynamic performance of the snorkel mast is of great significance to the development of the underwater vehicle.In this paper,the wave force theory and the Morison formula are combined to measure the resistance of the snorkel mast of the underwater vehicle under different working conditions,and finally the strength of the snorkel mast is checked.The specific research work is as follows:First,study the wave force theory and Morison formula,use MATLAB software to program the wave force and Morison formula,and calculate the condition of the vent pipe mast at 0° angle of attack in the calm state of the water surface,the wave state of the water surface,and the underwater state.The resistance values received are analyzed and the simulation results are analyzed.Secondly,the ventilator mast scale model was built using CATIA software,and the model was meshed with ICEM software.Finally,Computational Fluid Dynamics software was used to calculate the resistance of the snorkel mast under the underwater 0° angle of attack and the resistance and lift under the 10° angle of attack under underwater conditions are analyzed,and the simulation results are analyzed.Thirdly,the vent pipe mast is tested in the calm state of the water surface,the wave state in the water surface,the different angle of attack in the underwater state,and the low-speed,medium-speed,high-speed conditions,etc.,and the resistance of the snorkel mast is subjected to the resistance.Measurement,and then the test results are processed and analyzed.Finally,the test results are compared with the wave force theory,the Morison formula MATLAB program calculation results and the Computational Fluid Dynamics software calculation results,and two simulation calculation results and test results are obtained.It is more consistent,indicating that the MATLAB program based on wave force theory,Morison formula and Computational Fluid Dynamics software are accurate and effective for calculating the resistance of the snorkel mast.Fourthly,the MATLAB program and Computational Fluid Dynamics software are used to calculate the resistance and lift of the actual snorkel mast under different working conditions,and the simulation results of the actual snorkel mast are substituted into the ANSYS software.The strength check is carried out under restraint and load conditions,and finally the resistance and wave force of the real boat model under different working conditions can satisfy the safety and stability of the structure.
