The power socket is an essential components for all kinds of electrical equipment to easily access the power supply network,and people’s daily life common devices.In order to realize the convenient,safe,reliable and energy-saving operation of the electrical on/off,the socket has developed from a simple circuit connection function to a smart socket with short-circuit detection,automatic power-off and remote control,especially for long-running high-power appliances,such as water heaters and electric furnaces,require sockets to be unattended and provide uninterrupted monitoring,not only handling abnormal conditions,but also transmitting alarm information remotely to the upper level monitoring system.In recent years,the development of the Internet of Things and smart home technology has provided a variety of technical means and a wide application market for the expansion of the functions of smart sockets.In this paper,the problems of electrical protection and remote monitoring technology in smart sockets,such as overload or leakage detection and remote alarm,energy metering and remote transmission,etc.,discuss the fault arc detection method and wireless communication realization technology of socket,application a networked communication framework that develops new smart sockets to improve remote and autonomous monitoring capabilities and operational reliability of the socket.The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:1.The causes and characteristics of fault arc in the socket access circuit are analyzed,the wavelet transform theory is studied,the fault arc is detected by wavelet transform to improve the accuracy,real-time and reliability of the fault arc detection.2.An intelligent socket optimization design scheme for unattended requirements is proposed,including hardware circuit design,such as socket power circuit,Roche coil for detecting load current and leakage current and its signal conditioning circuit,temperature sensing circuit,relay circuit for controlling load current,power detection circuit,etc.,to achieve structural optimization and integration;Second,data acquisition and communication method design,including wifi module circuit and its connection router,MQTT protocol.3.The intelligent socket for electrical safety and remote monitoring is realized,including the detection and protection device of fault arc and leakage,and the MQTT protocol.4.The arc generator is used in the test and the arc is made from 5 Ma to rated current.The test results show that the arc detection module can find the arc in time and deal with it accordingly.It achieves the design goal of electrical safety and remote monitoring,and provides a certain safety guarantee for users. |
