Development Of Live Obstacle Removal Devices For Transmission Line Based On UAV

With the advantages of flexibility,high efficiency and wide coverage of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV),it has made important breakthroughs in the application of power inspection.However,at present,the application of UAV in Electric Power Patrol is mostly staying in "patrol",which can not achieve real maintenance.To solve this problem,this paper studies from two aspects: Power Patrol multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle and live obstacle removal device,in order to solve the problem that transmission lines need manual tower removal at present.The main research and conclusions are as follows:(1)Developed a long-range Four-rotor UAV suitable for live clearance of power transmission lines.The maximum mission load of the UAV can reach 8.2 kg and the flight altitude is more than 200 meters.The UAV can endure 75 minutes without load,60 minutes with 1.2 kg mission load and 43 minutes with 2.5 kg mission load.The replacement of mission load is convenient and fast,and the average time is 3 minutes and 08 seconds.(2)An airborne remote control manipulator arm and an insulating rope dropping device are developed.The length of the insulating rope dropping device is up to 100 m.The insulating rope is connected with the gripping device by the traction insulating rope of the UAV,and the hanging object can be remotely wound to realize the maintenance function of the UAV.(3)A fire-spraying obstacle-clearing device for multi-rotor UAV is developed.The device is mounted on the multi-rotor UAV,and gasoline is ejected and ignited to burn the hangings on the transmission line to remove foreign bodies.The single tankof the fire-spraying barrier-clearing device carries 800 ML oil,and the length of the fire-spraying tongue can reach 5.5m,which will not cause damage to the transmission line.(4)A spraying device for bird-repelling and bee-repelling drugs was developed.The spraying liquid was 800 mL at a single time and the range was more than 5 m.The purpose of bird-repelling and bee-repelling could be achieved by spraying drugs to the nest by UAV.The above clearance devices can be adapted to different multi-rotor UAVs for clearance of foreign bodies in transmission lines,which reduces the difficulty of clearance of foreign bodies in transmission lines,improves the efficiency of clearance of foreign bodies,and ensures the safety of transmission lines.
