In recent years,the marine industry has encountered many opportunities and challenges,prompting the rapid development of high-performance ships.Many new ship types came into being,and composite ship types are one of them.However,as far as the current market is concerned,monomer-drain vessels still occupy a dominant position for a relatively long period of time in the future[1].However,these conventional single-body draining vessels are subject to their shape and scale.Their inherent wave-resistance is poor and their stalls are severe in the wave and are not well adapted to the increasingly stringent safety-sailing requirements[2].The object of this paper is a hydrofoil composite hovercraft?HYSWATH-400?with a hydrostatic displacement of 400 tons,which combines the advantages of a hydrofoil and a catamaran[3].While maintaining high Speed at the same time also has good resistance to wave.However,as a new type of ship,there are still many new contents in terms of ship design and hydrodynamic performance to be further studied and explored in the near future.In this paper,we mainly do some research on the influence of hydrofoil parameters variation on the HYSWATH surge resistance.The wave propagation of HYSWATH-400 was numerically simulated by using CFD technology.The reliability of the CFD calculation method was verified by model tests.The parameters such as the angle of attack of the hydrofoil,the location of hydrofoils and the area of hydrofoils were further studied.The impact of the wave,for the future design and optimization of these types of ships to provide some theoretical reference.Through the research,it is found that for the HYSWATH,it is beneficial to improve the wave resistance in the range of wing navigation speed studied in this paper by properly increasing the attack angles of the front and rear wings and the area of the front and rear wings,but the influence of the position of the wing on its wave resistance It is relatively small.Therefore,in the study and design of such ships,you can refer to this opinion.
