Rotor in rotating machinery may generate abnormal vibrations due to various reasons during operation,most of which are caused by imbalance.In view of the high hardware cost and poor scalability of rotor vibration fault analysis and dynamic balance of traditional instruments.This research designed rotor vibration fault analysis and dynamic balance system based on virtual instrument software platform.The system is cost-effective and flexible,enabling analysis of rotor vibration faults and balancing operations.Firstly,the analysis methods of rotor vibration faults such as time domain analysis,spectral analysis,axial trajectory analysis and two-dimensional holographic spectrum analysis are introduced,and summarized the vibration failure mechanism and identification characteristics of rotor mass imbalance,rotor misalignment,rotor rubbing,loose connection,shaft bending and crack.Then,based on the virtual instrument software LabVIEW to design the corresponding functional modules of the vibration fault analysis with the four main analysis methods,and completed the integration of these modules.Secondly,the principle and method of dynamic balance of rigid rotor and flexible rotor are analyzed in detail.Combined with the characteristics of modal balancing method and influence coefficient method,the dynamic balance schemes of rigid rotor and flexible rotor are given.Combined with the knowledge of signal processing,some key techniques in the dynamic balance test such as the zero-phase filtering of the rotor vibration signal,the measurement of the reference signal and the extraction of the unbalanced vibration amplitude and phase are completed.Then based on LabVIEW,the design integration of the signal acquisition,signal processing,dynamic balance algorithm,data preservation and other modules of the rotor dynamic balance test system are completed.Finally,the computer with data acquisition system structure is combined with the rotor test platform to verify the system.Firstly,the effectiveness of each functional module of the vibration fault analysis system was verified by simulating vibration faults such as rotor imbalance,rotor rubbing and loose connection on the test bench.Then,the dynamic balance test system is used to complete the single-sided and double-sided dynamic balancing operation of the rigid rotor,and the dynamic balance operation of the flexible rotor at two speeds.After the balance,the amplitude of the fundamental vibration of the rotor has a certain degree of decline.
