Research On The Renewal Planning Of The Old Town Of Hulan Based On The Theory Of City Betterment And Ecological Restoration

The old city witnessed a city from nonexistence to pass into existence,from the wilderness to the high buildings,it also witnessed the rise and fall of a city during its various development periods.In the process of this long-term development and evolution,the old city gradually precipitated the profound urban cultural heritage and historical context,but at the same time the ecological conditions and built environment of the old city can no longer adapt to the rapid development of the city,and a large number of urban diseases gradually emerged.The new concept of “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” provides guidance for current and future urban renewal and development transformation.Orderly implementation of “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” and improving the pertinence and sustainability of urban design have become historically inevitable.In this paper,the research on the renewal planning of Hulan Old Town in Harbin is carried out under the background of the concept of “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration”,to provide reference for the renewal of Harbin and its surrounding cities.First of all,this paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant literatures of “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” about the old city,and analyzes the differences and current status of the renewal of the old city at home and abroad.And then studies the sustainable development theory,organic renewal theory and healthy city theory that related to the city renovation,combined with the basic research on the connotation interpretation,inevitability and practical significance of the city renovation,from the three aspects of green open space,urban vitality function and historical and cultural value explainning the basic path of the renewal of the old city space under the concept of City Betterment and Ecological Restoration.And reference to the outstanding cases of Seoul Cheonggyecheon in Korea and Sanya City Betterment and Ecological Restoration,provide reference for the spatial renewal planning of Hulan Old Town in Harbin.On the basis of a detailed understanding of the natural ecological conditions,built environment conditions of the research subjects,through the field exploration and research interviews,the in-depth investigation and study of the external space of Hulan Old Town in Harbin,understanding the characteristics of the ecological landscape and built environment of the old city,combing the current conditions of the Hulan Old Town in the two aspects,and analyzing and discussing the problems that need to be solved in the renewal of old city from the aspects of ecological landscape system and built environment quality.Based on a summary of literature research and current status issues,the objectives and principles of the old city renewal based on the concept of the “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” are determined,and the framework of the old city renewal system is established.The strategy of spatial renewal planning for the old city of Hulan District is proposed from three aspects: ecological landscape restoration,built environment restoration and update implementation guarantee.It aims to enhance the vitality and quality of the outer space of the old city by updating and optimizing all aspects of the “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration”.It is hoped that it can provide some reference for the “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” of Harbin.
